Light Festival at Arta Gallery

Description: Toronto Light Fest saw its weekend debut at Arta Gallery. Featured artist Ryan Longo reworked nature in a futuristic way, using fibre optics and mixed media to create "Luna" and "Desert Flower," two of the gallery's impressive light sculptures. Longo's inspiration came when he was asked to build a daft punk-esque helmet for a friend's performance at Burning Man. The exhibit runs until March 12th.
